Ertalyte offers both the high wear resistance of Nylon and the low moisture absorption of Acetal in one. It also offers seven times more wear resistance than Acetal and a mechanical strength up to 200oF and its FDA approval means that it can replace UHMWP, stainless steel or bronze. Many packaging, meat processing and liquid filling companies are changing to use Ertalyte.
Ertalyte TX is a Polyethylene Terephtalate based compound incorporating a uniformly dispersed solid lubricant. Its specific formulation yields a premium, internally lubricated bearing grade. It has excellent wear resistance as well as a low coefficient of friction better than Ertalyte.
