Polycarbonate is a virtually unbreakable glazing material. It combines high impact resistance with clarity and provides ideal protection from intruders. The excellent impact resistance behaviour of polycarbonate makes it the choice against vandalism thus avoiding broken windows or repairing of windows and costly maintenance. Polycarbonate can be cut, drilled, machined, cold bent and vacuum formed making it extremely versatile.

Thicker (12mm+) Polycarbonate plate and round rod are not as clear as above but are semi transparent. They do however retain all of the characteristics of the clear material. Some polishing processes can be used to regain clarity following machining. Clear tube is also available in a limited size range.
