Polycarbonate Properties
Polycarbonate is a clear plastic with exceptionally high impact strength, making it the preferred material of choice for virtually unbreakable glazing material. Clarity and impact resistance make it ideal for protection from intruders and vandals, allowing you to avoid costly repairs to glass and more brittle materials.
Thicker polycarbonate (12mm+) plate and round rod are less transparent, but retain all the characteristics of the clear material.
Clear Polycarbonate tube is available in a limited size range.
